More About ME!
Hello! My name is August N. McCloud! I am a trans, 18-year-old artist born and raised in Seattle Washington, now living in Portland Oregon. I’ve been doing some form of art my entire life, spending most of my free time, and not-so-free time drawing. I am currently a student at the Pacific Northwest College of the Arts. My goal is to be able to sustain myself with my art, but until then, I just want to be able to share my creations with people who support me! I am an active community member and activist and my views of the world are often portrayed in my work. I’m trying to keep my business sustainable and ethical, bringing you the highest quality, homemade products!
FAQs
How long does it take you to complete a piece?
The timeline changes for each piece, being affected by the complexity of the design or my current level of inspiration, but I tend to make items in the shop in large batches to conserve time and have a quicker shipping time, but commissions can take up to two weeks depending on my workload. All I ask is patience when it comes to any delays that may occur, I am a student first and foremost.
Where do you get your materials from?
I am trying to source my materials locally from small businesses, but otherwise, I do my best to get sustainably and ethically sourced products. There are some things I am still trying to get from local or reputable businesses, but that kind of thing will take time and money. I also try to add any information about the materials that go into each product in their descriptions.
How long will preorder items take to be created and shipped?
Hopefully, as soon as possible! Preorder items are products that people have shown interest in but still require funding. This means that some items may take a while to create and be shipped out, but I hope to be clear in sharing information regarding the progress of any orders placed on preorder items.
Do you have a return policy?
I have not yet figured out a return policy, so all purchases will be final for the time being. All items are handmade and packaged, so they will be inspected before shipping to ensure high-quality products. If there is a sizing issue or other minor mix-up, shoot me an email at mudbank.business@gmail.com and we can discuss resolving the problem!
